dusseldorf diary - sunny days

the sun has come visiting us. its still cold though. yesterday it snowed. scene straight from black. zindagi ki ek khwaish puri huvi. i saw snow fall. this has been a unique vacation. not much of sight seeing but more an experience of a different way of life. everything here is treated with respect, watching garbage being collected was a fascinating experience. the machines actually work. I saw a road being dug and relaid, only two people were doing the job. they had a small cement mixer in their truck itself. I saw beer being delivered to the pub downstairs. again just one person driving the truck did everything. Minimum effort, maximum result seems to be the mantra here. more later...
